Productivity is at the heart of everything we do in Quadstone Paramics; our mantra of "spend less time building your model and more time understanding it" shapes the way users work with the Paramics tools on all levels. The UAF embodies this important design feature in many different easy providing an easy to use modeling environment where testing, refining and improving the quality of your models is encouraged through the project lifecycle.
UAF provides tools to help you debug coding errors and geometry issues, trace agents paths, view interactions between vehicles and agents and error check demands specifications. The UAF Stuck Agents tool can be used to identify coding errors where placement of waypoints and connectors are causing agents to route incorrectly or to become lost in the free space. The UAF empowers the model builder with detailed information about the type, location, persistence and cause of blockages allowing the modeler to distinguish between random noise and clusters of stuck agents indicating a spatial problem in the real world or proposed design layout.
In addition the UAF allows the modeler to fine tune or debug all components of the model while the simulation runs removing the need for lengthy iterative model build cycles freeing up the model builder to focus on quality and detail.
All of the detailed agent and spatial analytics tools provide in the UAF operate at run time so there is no need for time consuming post processing of data; in the UAF all the key metrics you need are available whenever you need them.
